My name is Scott, and this course is designed for those who already have a grasp of the guitar basics and are eager to dive into playing captivating solos. Throughout these six lessons, we will explore various techniques essential for playing lead guitar. With downloadable PDFs and recorded videos, each lesson will provide you with clear examples and guidance. To maximize your learning experience, it is recommended to have an electric guitar and a metronome (the Tempo app is an excellent free option!).
The course will focus on utilizing the A-minor Pentatonic scale with the addition of the blues note. We will delve into exciting techniques such as slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, bending strings, and combinations of these techniques to create captivating solos. Practice tracks will be provided to help you apply your newly acquired skills effectively.
